MANZANILLO
COMBINED-CYCLE POWER PLANT
The “General Manuel Álvarez Moreno” Manzanillo Thermoelectric Complex is one of Mexico’s major power generation facilities. With the addition of new combined-cycle units, the complex has reached an installed capacity of approximately 2,860 MW. Due to its scale and strategic location on the Pacific coast, the complex plays an important role in supplying electricity to western Mexico, integrating the generation, transformation, and transmission infrastructure required to deliver power to different points of consumption throughout the region.
